Christian`s Armor
Be followers of God as dear children. Walk in love as Christ showed his love. Put away every sin, and all malice within. Live like Jesus who came from above. Those who love to do evil, have no place in God's kingdom at all. This described each of you. Now your children of light, not ruled by the curse of the fall. Be not drunk with wine which is excess, but be filled with God's Spirit instead. Speak to yourselves in hymns and psalms, thanking God you were raised from the dead. Honor your husbands, as you would the Lord, is God's word to each, as a wife. Husbands give all for your wife as did Christ. Our Lord even laid down his life. Now children obey your parents. This commandment came with a first. God says those who do will be granted long life as they journey down here on this earth. Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and the power of His might. Put on all your armor and withstand the devil. God equips you to win this fight. Have your loins gird about with truth. His righteousness wear on your chest. Your feet should be shod with the gospel of peace. And with faith you're equipped for each test. You will quench all the darts of the devil. As salvation's helmet you wear. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. With these go to battle in prayer. Pray faithfully for each other. Pray for me as the gospel I preach. Grace to you is my wish, in the love of our Lord, until face to face I can teach.
