One Thousand Years
After this I heard a voice in heaven. Hallelujah, praise was shown. There were four and twenty elders and the beasts around the throne. A white horse rider, Faithful and True. I knew it was my Lord. The armies of heaven followed him. From his mouth came a sharp sword. King of Kings and Lord of Lords, was the name that I saw written. He treads the wine press in his wrath. By him the wicked smitten. Then an angel with a key to the pit and a great chain in his hand, Bound the devil for one thousand years, that he should tempt no man. I saw those who didn't worship the beast, and for this they were slain, They sat on thrones with Jesus, and with our Lord did reign. The rest lived not again until the thousand years were passed. But these were resurrected first. They lived with Christ at last. And when the thousand years are done, Satan's loosed. It isn't pretty. He gathers Gog and Magog and attacks God's holy city. But fire comes from God, Satan crashes like a falling star. The devil's cast in the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet are. Then the dead both small and great stand before God's holy throne. The books are open and another book but God protects his own. They're judged according to their works. The lost draw their last breath. Death and hell are cast in the lake of fire. This is the second death.
