Moses' Song
God saved the Hebrews from Pharaoh. His army was now gone. To celebrate with Moses, Israel sang a song. The Lord's our strength and salvation Our God and habitation. A man of war, the Lord's his name. Now all will fear and spread His fame. He drowned the chariots in the foam. They sank to the bottom like a stone. God's right hand in glorious power. He dashed the enemy in one hour. They thought to cause his people trouble. God overthrew and made them stubble. With a blast of His nostrils the waters heap. He destroyed His enemies in the deep. Who is like our mighty God. For on dry land his people trod. The heathen will hear and be afraid. The way to Canaan's land is made. For ever and ever the Lord shall reign. To God the people danced and sang. Would they remember God's provision, or loose their faith and cast derision. We'll find out soon for next they come, to Marah's water but could drink none.
