Zephaniah 1:1-3:20

Zephaniah, the great, great grandson of one of Judah's most Godly kings.
Hezekiah, the wonderful patriarch, enjoyed the blessing that obedience brings.

But like the other prophets, Zephaniah had to say,
They strayed from God. Judgment would come, and sweep them all away.

God said I will utterly consume the land; leave it void of man and beast.
They have turned to worshiping idols. Now God will make them cease.

He called this judgment, The Day Of The Lord, and said it soon would come.
How Israel and Judah would be driven from their home.

But as with the other prophets, God promised to restore.
He said that they'd turned back to Him, and worship Him once more.

They will call upon their Savior, serving Him with one consent.
The Lord reigning mighty among them. Their enemies will relent.

He will gather them together, from their captivity.
He will live in reign among them, for all eternity.
