Ezekiel 8:1-19:14

Look Ezekiel at Israel. God showed him their sin.
He straigltly commanded, go warn them again.

If they say God is slack this won't happen now,
you tell them, I quickly will fulfill my vow.

Tell them woe to their prophets who say nothing's wrong.
They prophesy falsely. They shall not last long.

Then Ezekiel says, elders came and sat before me.
God declared, tell these men, not even for three.

Three, Noah and Daniel and Job cannot save.
I'll deliver their souls. Send the rest to the grave.

But I will save a remnant, to rebuild my land,
and the nation I started from one faithful man.

Now go tell Jerusalem how wicked they've been.
Much worse than Sodom. Look what happened to them.

They can't blame their fathers for captivity.
They still are rebellious and sin against me.

For now they as sons are asking me why.
Because of themselves. The soul that sins it shall die.

Yet this time did Israel still not repent.
So the next year again a message was sent.
