Ezekiel Is Called
The vision of God to Ezekiel the priest. Cap-tive in Chaldea. The land to the east. Four creatures in a whirlwind. Four faces on each. They came with a message, for Ezekiel to preach. 'Twas the glory of God. Ezekiel fell on his face. God said, stand on the ground as I speak in this place. Your people of Israel, even now still rebel. God gave him a scroll, with a message to tell. God said eat these words. Then go to your kin. I have set you a watchman, to warn them again. And if you don't warn them, their blood's upon you. So deliver their souls, from this thing I will do. But if they rebel and heed not your word, full one third shall die. Tell them, thus says the Lord. They are captive already. You would think they would learn. Now famine will slay them. Unless they do turn... back unto their God, but it seems they ignored. God came the next year, and said, thus says the Lord.
