Promised Future
The spirit of the Lord is on me, to preach unto the meek. To bind the broken hearted. To heal all who seek. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. To comfort all who mourn. To bring praise and joy in Zion. To lift up the forlorn. For Zion's sake I will not rest, 'til the Gentiles see her righteousness. Salvation comes from Zion. and with Him, His reward. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. Salvation is of the Lord. You are those who forget the Lord; provoke me to anger. I will purge by the sword. But a remnant remain for my servants sake. They call on me, and a new name will take. I'll create a new heaven. I'll create a new earth. Rejoicing in Jerusalem. There will be a rebirth. For heaven is my throne, and earth my footstool. I'll bring peace like a river. You'll no more play the fool. The wicked's worm will not die, their fire will not cease. But on new moon and Sabbath, you'll worship in peace.
