Isaiah 40:1-49:26

Comfort my people says God. I'll pardon their iniquity.
I'll send a voice in the wilderness, and he shall go before me.

Prepare you the way of the Lord, and make His path just so.
Every valley shall be raised up. Every hill shall be brought low.

Then they that wait upon the Lord, He shall renew their strength.
They shall mount up with wings of eagles. They shall run and go the length.

Oh Israel, you are my servant. Seed of Abraham, my friend.
You will pass through trying times, but have victory in the end.

Behold my servant, my elect, in whom my soul doth delight.
He'll not break a bruised reed, or quench a flax, until he makes things right.

You are my people oh Israel, in whom I have shown favor.
I am your redeemer. Beside me there is no savior.

I will bring you back again by Cyrus. I hold his right hand.
He will decree to set you free and return you to my land.

Remember I'm God. There is none else, declaring end at the beginning.
The chastening from the heathen will pass. It is only because of your sinning.
