Isaiah 36:1-39:8

Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of Hezekiah the king,
the armies of Assyria circled Jerusalem like a ring.

They had conquered many nations. Said Judah, you'll be the same.
What makes you think your God can save? What's different about His name?

When king Hezekiah heard this, he tore his cloths and prayed.
Lord hear my prayer. This man mocks you, and yet I am afraid.

Don't fear this mighty army, the prophet Isaiah said.
God sent his angel and by morning light the Assyrian army was dead.

Then Hezekiah got sick. Said Isaiah, you'll live no more.
Hezekiah again cried out to the Lord. The Bible says he wept sore.

God said I have heard your prayer. Hezekiah I've seen your tears.
God commanded Isaiah, go tell Hezekiah, I'm giving him fifteen more years.

And this shall be a sign, be sure Hezekiah sees.
The shadow on the sundial, will go back ten degrees.
