Proverbs 6:1-13:25

Go to the ant and consider her ways.
Sluggards party at night and sleep in their days.

Seven things the Lord hates; a proud look, a lying tongue;
shedding innocent blood, wicked imagination.

Running to mischief, a witness that lies,
and he that sows discord, God does despise.

My son, keep my words, lay up my commands.
Write them on your heart. Bind them on your hands.

Wisdom's better than rubies. By her the kings reign.
Find her, you find life. Reject her you find pain.

Reprove a scorer get shame, or the wicked, a blot.
Give instruction to the wise, he'll love you a lot.

The fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins.
But those who reject, will die in their sins.

A wise son will make his father so glad,
but the foolish insures his mom will be sad.

To use a false balance to cheat is not right,
but a balance that's honest, is God's delight.

A tale bearer gossips, but the faithful conceal.
The one makes you sore. The other lets you heal.

The fruit of the righteous, God shall not despise.
He who is a soul-winner, God says is wise.

Where no council is, the people shall fall.
Abundant instruction, makes us stand tall.

The way of a fool is right in his eyes.
One who listens to counsel, is the man that is wise.

He that spares discipline hateth his son.
But loving correction can't be overdone.
