Psalm 122:1-139:24

I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.
Had God, not been on our side, we'd been swallowed up by the sword.

Planting may be hard, but harvest we enjoy.
Thus they that sow in tears, shall surely reap in joy.

Except God build the house, the workers labor in vain.
Children are a pleasure, to have many is great gain.

Let Israel's hope be in God. He has chosen us for His own.
He delivered us from the nations. Set David on his throne.

Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His Mercy endures forever.
Even when punished in Babylon, the Lord forgot us never.

The Lord has searched and known me. My rising and lying down.
Where can I go from his presence, that I should not be found?

If I ascend into heaven, or make my bed in hell.
Or take the wings of the morning, or in the sea I dwell,

Still his hand shall hold me. His presence does not fade.
I marvel at His wisdom. I'm fearfully and wonderfully made.

Try me oh Lord and know my thoughts. Search and know my heart.
See if wicked way's in me. Lord never let me depart.
