Psalm 101:1-121:8

I sing of mercy and judgment. Wish for one and deserve the other.
I will set my heart toward eternal God, and not be drawn to another.

Bless the Lord oh my soul. He forgives our sin. He heals our diseases.
He forgives fallen men. He saves our souls. Oh bless the name of Jesus.

As heaven is high, so his mercy to us.
He pities his children. He remembers we're dust.

Makes his angels ministering spirits, and causes grass to grow;
Sun and moon to give us light, and the water brooks to flow.

Kept His promises to Abraham. Brought us back from a foreign land.
Sent great plagues upon Pharaoh, and delivered from his hand.

Praise the Lord, he is good. His mercy is forever.
When we strayed he chastened us, but he forgot us never.

From the wilderness He brought us. Let the redeemed of God say so.
He lead us in the right path. He shows us where to go.

Oh that men would praise the Lord, and remember his acts.
Many times did we stray, and He lovingly brought us back.

The Lord said unto my Lord, sit thou at my right hand.
Your enemies I'll make your footstool. None greater in all the land.

The heathen have their idols, of silver and of gold.
They made them with their own hands, but you Lord are from old.

I love the Lord. He hears my prayers. When I die I'll not be dead.
Precious is the death of all the saints. We will live with Him instead.

Oh give thanks unto the Lord. For He is on my side.
I will not fear what man can do. In Him I'll safely hide.

The Lord's my strength. He is my song, my joy and my salvation.
The stone the builders set at naught, is chief of all creation.

This is the day which God has made. Let all rejoice and be glad.
How shall a young man cleanse his way? By heeding all you've said.

I've hid your word within my heart, so as not to sin against thee.
When all was well, I went astray, but you have chastened me.

This was good for me, for it made me stop, and consider your statutes pure.
For unless your law is my delight, I will miserably fail for sure.

Thus your word is a lamp unto my feet, a light unto my path.
The entrance of your word gives light. It keeps my soul from wrath.

I will lift mine eyes into the hills. My help does come from there.
It comes from God who does not sleep. I'm always in His care.
