Job 1:1-2:10

There was a man from the land of Uz. A man whose name was Job.
Was greatest in the East; most perfect on the entire globe.

Even God seemed quite impressed, but Satan did his best,
to discredit this man, who stood in the land, way out above the rest.

Now Job had seven sons. He also had three daughters.
He had donkeys, and oxen and camels and sheep. Of course beside still waters.

Satan said if you take his goods, he will surely turn away.
God replied, you can try. You think you're sly. I disagree with what you say.

Satan took all Job had. Now I'm sure Job was sad.
But he worshipped the Lord. Didn't even get mad.

I came to this world with nothing, I am sure I'll go out the same.
Job was grieved as he sat alone in the dust, but he faithfully blessed the Lord's name.

Satan said, skin for skin, make him hurt and he'll sin.
God said, try again. We will see if you'll win.

Job was smitten with boils and sores. Satan vexed him from head to toe.
His wife said, why, don't you curse God and die, but Job straightly replied, no.
