2 Chronicles 5:1 - 7:22

Finally, the temple was finished. The priests and the Levites went,
to bring in the ark with two tablets of stone; the Ark of the Covenant.

Then Solomon bowed on his knees, before God and Israel, his nation.
He lifted his hands toward heaven, and prayed a dedication.

When Solomon's prayer was ended, God sent fire, sacrifice to consume.
His glory filled the temple. Brighter than sun at noon.

The people bowed and worshipped. Then again Solomon sacrificed.
142,000 in all, and all pointing to Jesus the Christ.

Then God appeared to the king in a dream, with a promise should Israel stray.
"If my people, yes those who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray,"

"and seek my face, and turn from their ways of wickedness; then will I hear,
from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and will heal this land they hold dear."

"But if they disobey and serve other gods, through whom they receive no salvation,
I will pluck them up and they shall become a byword in every nation."
